Compression driver designed for high-end products and demanding studio monitoring speaker.

 

It has been designed to be used in 2 ways system, with a crossover point  between 1000Hz and 1500Hz.

Motor structure and moving parts use our innovative technology to provide extended response, over 20kHz.

This graph shows the frequency response and the related distortion rate when our Cmp38_vHE is used with exponential horn, 285mm output diameter, 2V input signal,

Thanks to the dual chambers device, tuned to maximize the efficiency in the mid-band, the high-pass filter can be set at 10kHz, and get flat frequency response from 1000Hz to 22000Hz.

This filtering method minimize the diaphragm excursion and the related distortion.
